The Warrior Guide – Spec Your WoW Warrior

Hi and welcome to my guide about the WoW Warrior. A good warrior guide will help you to choose the right talent build for your character, if you are new to this game and want to get to know the character class.

All in all there are 3 talent trees: Fury, Arms and Protection.

Now, the first talent build is the Protection build. Choose this talent tree to turn your WoW warrior into a mean tanking machine. Every raid party needs a good tank, as every Warrior guide can tell you.

Why? Because without a tank there’s noone to make sure the boss mob stays where he stands instead of running around, killing the squishy mages and rogues. That’s why it’s a great idea to get the Protection spec if you plan to become a tank and join a raid guild.

The second talent build in my Warrior Guide is the Fury build.

The Fury spec focuses on dual wielding two weapons. You will attack very fast and deal a lot of damage. The Fury talent tree is the perfect choice if you want to become a damage dealer in your raid party!

Now, no warrior guide would be complete without the Arms talent build. This build is perfect both for leveling fast and playing PvP. It focuses on one big two-handed weapon.

Do you think a slow attack speed is bad? Normally I would agree with that. But the Arms tree takes advantage of a simple game mechanic. The damage per second is always the same. That means a weapon with slow rate of attack deald more damage on each strike.

Now we come to the fun part: The Arms tree offers lots of skills that give you additional attacks with your weapon. And you’ll deal the full damage every time!

I hope you had fun reading my warrior guide. Now enjoy testing every talent spec and find out which suits you the most.

Warrior Guide – How To Improve Your PvP Game In 3 Easy Steps

Want to improve your Warrior PvP game? Playing a warrior in the battlegrounds or in the arena is very difficult if you don’t understand a few key concepts that are crucial for warriors.

To make this easy, I’ve broken this down into 3 easy steps. But big disclaimer: These are just the basics. Theory is fine, but you’ll also need actual fighting experience. Fail often, fail fast but learn from your losses, and your PvP game will soon be pretty solid.

Step #1 – Choose a PvP Talent Spec

First of all, you should spec a proven and effective PvP build. Read through a couple of Warrior builds and try out how they would play out. Don’t waste your time on figuring this out in-game – just use one of all the online tools.

Then start to master the one that suits your playing style the most. Now master it.

Even if a build is solid and proven, it’s not a magic fix. You have to learn how to use every skill and get the most out of it. For proven attack rotations, you can also try to find a good warrior guide on that topic.

Step #2 – Resilience

When it comes to your Warrior spec, you want to get your resilience as high as possible. Constantly be on the lookout for gear that improves how long you can stay alive while absorbing damage from multiple enemies.

I recommend you write a list of good items you come across and then prioritize them by how much they improve your stats and how hard they’re to get. Never forget to make notes when you come across a successful PvP warrior. You’re looking at actual results here, not some theoretical unproven warrior guide from some random forum user.

Step #3 – Learning To Dance

Get your stances dialed. Your ability to stance-dance – jump back and forth your stances – is crucial in PvP. This isn’t PvE where you can just beat mobs – your opponents are human beings who have some tricks up their sleeve. Mind game is a big factor in PvP.

Alright, let me wrap things up. That’s plenty for you to practice. Give it some thought, but then go out and gather real experience.

When you get some results, hit the forums or Google to find a more in-depth warrior guide with tricks, tips and tweak to get even more out of your character. But one can’t become an successful PvP Warrior if he doesn’t know the basics.

Mage Guide – Fun And Fast-Paced WoW Action

When it comes to World of Warcraft I think mages are one of the most fun classes to play. They feel fast-paced compared to warriors, rogues or hunters. You can kill off a lot of mobs at once using your area of effect spells and you can also add lots of value to every raid or PvP party.

Some players look down on mages because they are very powerful but still a real push-over when you get close to them.

Personally, I don’t like to weight and compare each of the classes with each other. I think of them as chess piecec in a big chess game. Each class serves a different purpose and has its own strength and weaknesses. And depending on the situation at hand a mage is very useful or almost useless.

Mage Professions

Let’s look at some of the professions that suit a good mage:

Mages usually choose Tailoring for their primary profession. The great thing is that all the materials you need are dropped by mobs and since you don’t “have” to make bandages you can use them without buying anything.

As with most other mage guide, my suggestion is, go with Enchanting!

You can then use the tailored items and disenchant them – the essences you get sell for a lot of gold at the AH.

Other fun professions to learn as a mage are Alchemy and Herbalism but they are not exactly gold-getters in the game. The consumables you can summon save you quite some gold.

Mage Builds

Now let’s look at some of the most basic mage builds without going into too much detail about how you should spend each talent point.

Hardly anybody focuses fully on Arcane for obvious reasons. Which leaves us with two basic Builds:

Fire Mage – If you’ve read a mage guide before, you know this one’s great for the early stages of the game. You can kill quest mobs fast by sniping them with fire spells. With this build you don’t have to think about a fancy skill rotation, you will always burn through all your mana in no time.

Frost Mage – Frost mages are great at handling groups of mobs simultaneously. Frost mages are more mana efficient and their mana flow is more consistent. Fire mages use up their mana in spikes – when they burst out damage – while frost mages use their mana more consistently.

So there you have it.

Now you can go out and start your own WoW mage toon.

Go out and gather some XP, then come back to read a more in-depth WoW mage guide.

Warrior PvP Combat – How To Play Your WoW Warrior In PvP

Do you love warrior PvP action but you find it hard to figure out the right way to play? Don’t know how to use the skills to their maximal efficiency and how to counter the different classes? One way to improve your skill would be a Warrior PvP guide.

Such a Warrior PvP guide can help you to learn all the important strategies, tricks and secrets that successful arena and battleground champions already use to beat their opponents.

Beside you can also read their opinion on different talents, talent builds, attributes and stats and so on. In this short warrior pvp guide I have put together some basic strategies to get you started.

First things first: Don’t make the mistake to confuse PvP with PvE. When players level up they often think playing their warrior would be easy since they have no problems beating hordes of mobs. PvP action is much faster and you have to react more quickly. If you are not experienced in this, you can not predict your opponents movement.

If you want to beat your opponent, you have to change your whole strategy. Stick to your PvE playstyle and you will fail…. hard. It’s better to turn to a warrior pvp guide to find out which strategy really works. This way you can make decisions in the blink of an eye every time an enemy approaches you.

Basic Warrior PvP Combat

First things first: The most important fact to start with is that playing a warrior against other players is all about dealing lots of damage in little time. That’s burst damage.

You can’t just deal high damage over a long time because you will not live long enough if you give your opponent enough time to react. You have to focus on one opponent and kill em as fast as possible!

The next problem is getting into range and – more importantly – staying in range. Most casters or ranged damage dealer and everyone on the brink of death will try to get away from you. If you don’t know when to use your stuns, slows and other abilities, your enemy will simply kite you through the arena until you run out of hitpoints.

If you get the timing right, you must be ready to unleash hell on your target while you have a chance. In a good Warrior PvP guide you will find everything you need to time your abilities perfectly.

Now, that are the basics. A good warrior PvP guide will tell you exactly when to use your abilities and what to do to succeed against ranged classes such as mages, hunters and warlocks.

If you want a more detailed look into warrior pvp combat, I strongly recommend you to look for a guide that is written by someone who actually is or has been an arena champion and can tell you the ins and outs – and secret techniques – of their success.

Fast Leveling Your Mage – The Fastest Way To Level 1-80

Knowing the secret of fast leveling can help you to level your WoW character from 1-80 in less than 7 days. Do you want to get to level 80 in less than 7 /played days? Then read on…

World of Warcraft gives you many options to gather experience. One could think that this would make it easy to get to level 80, but in fact, the opposite is true.

With all the options, most players get confused and waste a lot of time switching from one playing style to another and back again.

I want to help you by analyzing ways that peope use for fast leveling – and show you how efficient they are.

Grinding: In a nutshell, grinding is all about searching for spot where lots of mobs spawn close to each other. Then you just kill the same kind of mob again and again… sound fun right?

And many players think grinding is the best way to level. In the past, this was true. But things are different now since Blizzard has changed the game mechanic of leveling. Today, questing gives you more experience than grinding. Basically, if you aren’t farming for gold/items/reputation, grinding is a waste of time nowadays.

Group Play: Another large group of players like to stick together in groups and quest together or visit instances of their level. In my opinion, visiting instances is a great way to get some nice gear, but I wouldn’t consider it fast leveling.

When you visit instances, the experience you get per hour is usually low because you don’t complete many quests.

Questing with an in-game guide: There’s another way to get to level 80. That’s questing on your own, following the perfect questing path given by an in-game addon. However, there’s a huge difference between questing with and without an in-game addon.

WoW is full of areas and quests. All the time, you have to make decisions. There are too many choices and that why most players stumble through the world, searching for the good quests.

But there’s more… Blizzard implemented junk-quests that slow you down on your way to level 80. Those junk-quests take lots of time and effort but you get almost no gold or exp in return.

But with an in-game leveling guide, you are really prepared for fast leveling! It does all the thinking for you and leads you through the perfect questing path.

WoW Warrior Guide – Discover The Warrior

Warriors are one of the most versatile classes in World of Warcraft. This warrior guide will take a look at all the aspects of the warrior and how to make use of your character in PvE and PvP situations. And how to get a warrior to level 80 fast.

Since you can have dual talent builds and don’t have to spend all your gold to re-spec your warrior, the class is a lot more fun to play. Tanks were frustrated about their low damage when they wanted to solo aside from raids.

Now you can switch back and forth to the the Fury or Arms build easily (and for FREE).

My suggestion is you gather some gear for both an offensive and a defensive build if you want to play solo and in a party.

The first talent tree I want to talk about in this warrior guide is the Protection tree. These talents are what make a warrior a great tank. That is all you can say about the protection tree. They support your defensive capabilities and in combination with the right equipment can make your warrior a walking fortress.

Just so you know: In PvP you will not be a walking fortress anymore. Protection is not good for PvP since most enemies can ignore your low damage.

Now, the second build to talk about is the Arms build. It is great both for leveling and player versus player combat. It focuses on a heavy 2handed weapon. It should be really slow in attack speed but give you a high damage with each of its slow swings. You will get plenty of talents that grant you another free, instant attack with your weapon.

Mortal Strike is also great in PvP since you can practically disable healing on the targets for a while.

Fury is the third talent build in my warrior guide. It’s also viable for leveling but best in PvE when it comes to DPS. You will be able to dual-wield 1h weapons and even two 2h weapons later on! You will want to make sure you actually hit with all your swings so you should also go for a high rit rating.

I hope you enjoyed my warrior guide and got some value from it. Have fun playing your warrior and make sure to try out every build to find out which suits you the best.

Warrior Spec Guide – Ding 80 ASAP

Unlike other classes, there’s more than one warrior spec to level your warrior to lv 80. They have to great leveling specs to choose from

Arms – This build focuses on a 2h weapon and is great for leveling and PvP

Fury – This talent tree focuses on dual-wielding two weapons and is great for leveling and being a damage dealer in raids

When it comes to leveling a warrior, many players say that there is something like a “sequence” of specs you should use.

I recommend you to start with the Arms talent tree. This warrior spec is more effective than the fury build in the early levels. The first talents in the Fury tree just aren’t as game-changing as the Arms talents.

When get to level 30, you get the Berserker Stance and already have quite some talent points. That’s a good moment to re-spec and switch to the Fury talent build. The Fury spec is not necessarily better than the Arms talent build, in the later levels it’s just as good for leveling.

Many players like to level with the Fury spec until they hit lvl 70 and stack some tanking gear. Then they visit instances from until they hit lvl 80. The reason for that is, that nowadays you can dual spec: You can have two talent builds at the same time and for example switch from the protection build to Fury and back whenever you want.

Let me recap the different talent specs for you so you can choose the best warrior spec for your:

The Arms tree focuses on a slow but powerful two-handed weapon. The DPS stays the same, no matter how slow you hit. But dealing less hits means each hit deal higher damage. And the Arms tree has lots of talents to give you additional swings.

The Fury tree focuses on dual-wielding two 1h weapons. Later you can also use two 2h weapons! You will need some gear to give you to-hit stats since or you will miss with many of your attacks. This warrior spec is excellent for deal consistently high damage.

As soon as you get to lvl 80 you will have all the choices: Will you visit endgame instances as an tank or off-tank or will you become a fearsome force in PvP? Take the warrior spec you like the most. The choice is yours.

Mage Leveling Guide – Fast Leveling A Fire Mage?

Before we dive in, let’s get one thing out of the way – the old Frost vs Fire debate. Which talent guide helps you level faster really depends on your preferred playing style.

If focusing on a difficult but effective strategy if for you, then go for frost.

This mage leveling guide is for players that want to focus on the fire talent build.

Unsure which one you prefer? You can test them both and see which one works better for you, then stick to it.

Now that this is clear, let’s head over to the actual talent spec.

This is how I recommend you to spend all your talent points as soon as you get them:

  • 5 Improved Fireball
  • 5 Ignite
  • 1 Pyroblast
  • 3 World in Flames
  • 2 Burning Determination
  • 3 Improved Scorch
  • 3 Master of Elements
  • 3 Critical Mass
  • 5 Fire Power
  • 1 Combustion
  • 3 Pyromaniac
  • 1 Blast Wave
  • 2 Molten Fury
  • 3 Empowered Fire
  • 1 Dragons Breath
  • 3 Hot Streak
  • 1 Firestarter
  • 5 Burnout
  • 1 Living Bomb

Once you have all the core talents, I suggest you to invest in some minor important ones and then switch to Arcane.

  • 3 Incineration
  • 1 Fire Starter
  • 2 Arcane Subtlety
  • 3 Arcane Focus
  • 5 Arcane Concentration
  • 3 Spell Impact
  • 3 Student of the Mind

The fire spec is best for players who don’t want to concentrate and focus all the time. It is a straight forward strategy that doesn’t require much strategy.

And since a fire mage normally fights only one mob at a time, the chances of being overwhelmed are smaller than when playing a frost mage. This can indeed be helpful with mage leveling.

One more thing though:

Although you’re a fire mage, you shoud still use Arcane or Frost spells in situations when it makes sense. I like to view spells as tools and if the opportunity arises, I love to use Blink or Frost Nova to immobilize my foes and get away.

For fast leveling I recommend the following strategy:

First mount up and then pull about five then Frostnova them while getting some distance. Now nuke them down with your AoE spells: Dragons Breath, Blast Wave, Arcane Explosion and Cone of Cold.

Mounts on World of Warcraft

Touching the superior skill-levels in Warcraft means lots of diversiform factors for those players who have spent the period of time and energy to get there. A number of gamers consider mounts as a symbol of their expertise in the game.
